Description

This is an original Michelin Man advertising lamp, in the form of Bibendum perched upon 4 Michelin Guide Books, & dating to around the 1950's.

The lamp, which is made of moulded plastic, consists of the base & the shade, & comes with it's original light fitting.

The hollow base is in the form of 4 stacked Michelin guide books (2x FRANCE, 1 ITALIE, & 1 DEUTSCHLAND). The Michelin Man shade attaches to the base via 2 bolts, which are accessed from the interior.

Condition is overall very good, with a few light marks but no splits or dents
