This painting is a classic watercolour on paper marine scene by
Sessions. Signed “Sessions” lower left and has a label affixed to the
verso stating “ James Sessions - After the Catch”.
Typical Sessions, impressionist genre scene taking place at the dock
with ships, people seagulls and a bright sunny day.
The artwork is museum framed and matted in a thick linen acid free mat
. The Frame is a carved guilded wood with gesso corners and is sealed
verso. It measures 14 ½ X 17 ½ . The image is approx 7 X 9 ½ inches.
