| My boating experience started in the mid-fifties as a youngster sailing with my cousin. First certified as a Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) Dinghy Instructor in the Learn to Sail program in 1971.
In 1981 I was certified as a Cruising Instructor and in 1991 as a CYA Powerboat Instructor. Since 1983 I have served as an Instructor Evaluator responsible for teaching new instructors and assisting with their professional development. |
